Should Gordon have been sent?

Some good articles on the interwebs about whether Alex Gordon should’ve been sent home. FiveThirtyEight.com’s Nate Silver started the discussion by arguing that Gordon should have been sent home. The Harvard Sports Collective picked up on Silver’s math and shows that holding Gordon was the right move. Fangraphs’ Jeff Sullivan took it a step farther with video evidence of why Gordon should have been held. He has screen shots of Gordon getting thrown out earlier in the year on a relay throw when he was halfway home. He also has video from earlier in the year of Brandon Crawford throwing out a runner from the same spot of Game 7 and the runner was already halfway home.
