So you’re saying there’s a chance?

After last season and the off-season Latos trade, I am not long on hope for this Reds season. But hey, we’re getting the All-Star Game so there’s something to keep me interested into July. So Fangraphs was kind enough to give me so hope.

It’s pretty simple:

• the position players have their best 2013 or 2014 season
• take the most optimistic projections for the starting rotation
• get a small positive contribution from the non-Chapman bullpen
• have no injuries

And the Reds blow away the rest of the NL Central. Looks like I need to make room in the budget for playoff tickets.
