Bengals need to make decisions on Kirkpatrick and Zeitler

Under the CBA, teams have club options for a fifth year for NFL First Round picks from 2012. The deadline for exercising the option is May 3rd. Football Perspective takes a look at the status of those 32 players. The Bengals have to make decisions on Kevin Zeitler AND Dre Kirkpatrick. For players selected with picks 11 through 32, where Zeitler and Kirkpatrick fall, the fifth-year deal is worth an average of the salaries of the players with the 3rd through 25th highest salaries at their position. The Bengals have a lot of cap room in 2016 so it will be interesting to see if they pull the trigger on either or both by May 3rd.
