I was checking out Miami(OH)’s stats on KenPom.com to see if the RedHawks were improving in any area under John Cooper (they’re not). But when I saw every season since 2002 lined up, what struck me was there adjusted tempo under Charlie Coles. I knew his teams played slow but didn’t realize how slow.
