Position value in the 2015 NFL Draft

Chase Stuart from Football Perspective looks at how draft capital was spent in the 2015 NFL Draft. He has already created a draft value chart based upon the expected marginal value produced be each draftee in his first five seasons. By assigning each draft pick a number of expected points, he can come up with how much draft capital was used at each position. Wide receivers, linebackers and cornerbacks lead the way using this metric. But if you look at it on a per snap basis, surprisingly running back becomes the most valued position in the 2015 Draft.
