While many headlines proclaim the Steelers with the toughest schedule, Bill Barnwell from Grantland writes that it’s really the Bengals with the toughest schedule. While most do the easy math of taking prior year records to determine strength of schedule, Barnwell points out that Pythagorean Expectation is a more accurate way to determine strength of schedule. Indeed, even if you use Vegas’ win over/unders, the Bengals still check out with the hardest schedule.
