No one’s pitching to the Cubs Top 4

Matthew Trueblood from Baseball Prospectus writes about the rate at which opposing pitchers are avoiding the strike zone against the Chicago Cubs first four batters. It makes sense that guys aren’t lining up to throw strikes to the likes of Fowler, Soler, Rizzo and Bryant. As Trueblood points out, the challenge for these young hitters is to stay disciplined and use on-base events to generate runs until/unless pitchers pour in more strikes.
