Where should we bat Joey?

Now that Joey Votto is crushing the baseball, the should he walk/should he hit discussion has died down. But not where do we bat him. As we learned in SABR grade school, batting order is not a huge driver of expected runs. The Reds DO need as many runs as they can get. Russell Carleton from Baseball Prospectus is firmly on #Team2Spot primarily because he believes Votto is so good that it would be a shame to waste him in the third spot. There are graphs and charts and everything. It’s an educational experience.
